Northwest Territories/Nunavut Council of Friendship Centres Transportation Survey

The Northwest Territories/Nunavut Council of Friendship Centres (NTNUCFC) has retained Acuere Consulting to undertake a feasibility study of a potential public transportation service (e.g. transit bus) to support travel needs of communities neighbouring Yellowknife.

This study includes the use of a transportation survey that seeks input from residents as to their travel patterns and needs.

Improved travel outside of home communities can help increase the quality of life for residents through more social interactions, economic growth, improved women’s safety, and reduce fuel use and emissions. We need your input to help to support your community and loved ones!
